Ive never really cared for these. I can appreciate the comfort and the space efficiency, but previous Cadillac were built cheaply and were o ften unreliable, but at least looked and felt like Cadillacs.

The FWD boxes that came in in the mid '80s did nothing to attract younger import buyers and did a lot to chase away older traditional customers. Not a good combination.

I really like the way this is spec’d out, except I’ve never cared for the cloth top treatment.

I’m slightly mixed on it, but I think it suit the style fairly well.

It looks good without the cloth roof, too, but it definitely has a different character.

It does. My mind sees cloth and thinks convertible. So these feel a bit dishonest. They also wear poorly. But this one is so well cared for that I can allow it.
